Any Night

Any Night guide

Create a YouTube Playlist with Start and End Times

Build a focused viewing experience from the exact parts of several YouTube videos. Any Night lets you choose the start and end moments for every selection, preview them, and plan the complete duration without downloading or editing the original videos.

Why ordinary playlists are not always precise enough

A standard YouTube playlist is useful when you want to watch complete videos in sequence. It is less convenient when only a particular interview answer, demonstration, performance, or documentary chapter belongs in your plan. Viewers may have to skip introductions, advertisements, repeated explanations, or unrelated sections by hand.

Any Night approaches the problem as an evening planner. Each video keeps its original YouTube source, while your plan records the exact playback window you selected. You can combine a seven-minute explanation from one source, a short visual example from another, and a longer concluding performance or documentary section in a single viewing sequence.

This is especially useful when the shape and total length of the evening matter. Instead of discovering halfway through that your playlist is far too long, you can review the selected durations while assembling it.

How to build a precisely timed video night

  1. Step 1

    Add a public YouTube video

Copy the video's YouTube URL, paste it into Any Night, and add it to your video set.

  2. Step 2

    Open the preview

Play the video and locate the first moment you actually want your audience to see.

  3. Step 3

    Set the playback window

Select the start moment and the end moment down to the second, then review the resulting duration.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat and start the night

Add the remaining videos, check the complete plan, save it if needed, and play the selections as one evening.

What Any Night does—and what it does not do

Any Night helps you

  • Choose exact start and end moments.
  • Preview each planned video section.
  • Combine selections from several YouTube videos.
  • Review the planned length before watching.
  • Save the finished plan for later.

The original videos remain on YouTube

Any Night does not download, duplicate, crop, or publish the source videos. Availability, playback permissions, and the content itself remain controlled by YouTube and the video owner. A removed, private, age-restricted, or region-restricted video may therefore become unavailable in a saved night.
